Great fast food. I also appreciate their commitment to fresh, GMO free food. My personal favorite is the beef soft tacos. My wife loves the vegetarian burrito. There is often a long line, so you may want to go early for lunch, or after the lunch crowd to avoid the wait.

I've frequently dined at this chipotle location more due to convenience than anything. With that being said, I have definitely given this location a chance and will be avoiding this location in the future. Why...? Quality issues. Consistency issues. The meat served at this location consistently disappoints and is often 50% fat or gristle that I throw away. Today I ordered online and picked up my food - 2 steak salads with double steak. The steak was raw. Bloody, raw and fatty. It was disgusting. We both picked through the bowls and discarded about 3/4 of the meat. The bowls also randomly had hot salsa - not requested. I would give the meal a 1 star. As my husbands work is not near this location we didn't have the ability to return the food. Another issues I have (as someone who routinely purchases salads) is they don't give you the dressing by default. You have to remember to ask. Sometimes we forget to ask and realize once we've reached our office. Annoying. Please just offer it. Chipotle does not have a way to leave feedback via email. You have to call the store and speak with a manager who refers you to a territory leader. This requires leaving voicemails with random people. I wish a complaint could be emailed. It would be much easier. I am going to stick with the chipotle in chipman center - much better tasting food and experience.

This is by far the best Chipotle I have ever eaten at. I have ate at practically all the KC area restaurants. The staff here are fantastic! The food is always in abundance in portion and flavor.

Great food - fast, fresh and favorful. Only problem is in consistency in portions. Some days the portions or smaller than on other days.

Uncharacteristic of what's expected of Chipotle. Ingredients lacked flavor, portions were, well, disproportionate. Food was barely warm. This place only bears the chipotle name but does not serve the food you expect from Chipotle.

It still taste like Chipotle, but the serving sizes here are weak compared to other locations.

I love Chipotle but this is the worst Chipotle of them all. Servers on the line are incredibly rude and unfriendly. Food is never warm and is never seasoned properly. A usual scoop of meat at this place is about half of what you get at other Chipotles. The other Chipotle in town blows this place out of the water. Don't waste your money here. Zero stars if possible.

I went for very first time at this store. I couldn't stay for a second because of noise. I had to sit outside to enjoy my burrito. Secondly the serving sizes is less than some stores like Westport store.

Every once in a while you get get a craving for a big old burrito made with FRESH ingredients. Chipotle is the place for a huge (one can easily make two meals out of one of their burritos) burrito. I was delighted to find that a Chipotle was moving into the old McDonalds just off 291 in Lee's Summit. It opened for business this past Tuesday and my husband and I went there for dinner last night. As is usual for Chipotle, the line was long, we had about 10 people in front of us and were seated in eating in about 15 minutes. The decor of this new store is very tiled and the mushroom stools were abundant in both small and bistro size. In addition there were tables that could be configured for groups or separated for smaller groupings. The decor was modern, as are most Chipotle's and spacious. The women's restroom was clean and the hand dryer was one of those newer ones that actually works. The food was excellent and the portions were huge as is usual for Chipotle. The restaurant was well staffed and the food very fresh. I had a steak burrito and my husband had a shredded beef burrito. I really like Chipotle's guacamole and that was available in abundance. Another bonus for me is that this Chipotle has Coke Zero at the soda fountain. The liquor license for this store is still pending. When they get it, they will offer beer and Patro'n Margaritas. I will be going back to this store for more meals. I did notice that a lot of folks were taking food to-go, more than were actually staying to eat in the store. The parking lot was full and I believe this is going to be a successful site for Chipotle. I am glad that there is one so close to my house and has easy access from Hwy 291.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
